The Senate passed their version of the Healthcare Bill 60-39 with no Republican support.  Though this is a huge step forward, this bill is far from what President Obama originally proposed.  Now it must go back to the House to be voted on again, but since the bill was largely unchanged, it will most likely not have too much problem getting to President Obama’s desk.

There is a glimmer of hope as the Senate Democrats finally agree on a bill.  However, an amendment that would add abortion to the bill was rejected.
